About the Photographer

Marsha is fascinated by the intricate beauty in plants and the marvelous way we see ourselves in animals, particularly companion animals.  She is able to capture the turn of a head or the look in an eye that opens the world of our beloved friends to us.  Marsha truly enjoys the discovery of wonder and design in nature.   

Candid family portraits often capture the essence of a smile or a look of wonder in a way unseen in formal portraiture.  Marsha’s candid family portriats reflect the heart of each individual and the joy in family relationships.

Recently, Marsha's work has expanded to the making images under the mysterious night sky.  Some of these images can be seen in the "Night" section of this site.

When her camera is at home, Marsha works as an epidemiologist in drug safety research and is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at a local medical school.  She is active in the field of genetic epidemiology.

Marsha enjoys using her sensitivity to light and detail to present a delightfully new perspective on the beauty in nature to the viewer.
